Careers
At On Pointe Contracting, we build high-end waterfront solutions including permanent and seasonal docks, boat lifts, seawalls, shoreline hardscape, and large-scale marine construction projects across Michigan.
We’re growing fast and we’re looking for hard-working, dependable, high-character people who take pride in quality work, professionalism, and getting the job done right.
🚨 IMPORTANT — READ THIS FIRST (EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS)
At On Pointe, “experience” means you can do the work efficiently, correctly, and safely without constant supervision.
If you’ve only done something once or twice, that is not experience — that is being exposed to it.
✅ We are happy to train the right person.
❌ But please do NOT claim you have experience in a skill or role unless you can actually perform it at a high level.
✅ PAY IS BASED ON PROVABLE EXPERIENCE
We pay great people great money — but pay is based on proven performance, not what’s written on a resume.
✅ SKILL VERIFICATION (PAID WORKING INTERVIEW)
Final candidates will be invited in for a paid half-day to full-day working interview so we can confirm skill level, work ethic, and job fit before final pay is locked in.
This protects both sides and ensures you’re placed in the right role at the right rate.

ROLE SUMMARY
On Pointe Contracting is hiring a field-oriented Project Manager to take ownership of
planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution oversight across our marine construction
projects. This role exists because the company has outgrown informal systems and owner-driven
coordination. We are looking for someone who can bring structure, clarity, and
accountability to the day-to-day flow of work — without needing constant direction. This is not a desk-only role and not a foreman replacement. This role bridges the gap between field leadership and operations.

backgrounds who can adapt quickly will be considered.
