Experienced Boat Dock & Boat Lift Crew Foreman
Are you a skilled marine construction professional ready to lead high-end waterfront projects? On Pointe Contracting is looking for a Boat Dock and Boat Lift Crew Foreman to take charge in the field and deliver best-in-class workmanship. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead the installation of permanent and seasonal boat docks, boat lifts (Golden, Ace, ShoreStation), and Snap Dock systems
✅ Perform boat lift and dock repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and installations of both new and used equipment
✅ Troubleshoot and diagnose cable systems and AC/DC electrical systems
✅ Assist with the assembly, adjustment, and repair of marine equipment to meet safety and quality standards
✅ Operate tools, power equipment, trucks, and machinery for repairs and installations
✅ Work on-site following all company safety and operational protocols
✅ Collaborate with crew members and project managers to ensure excellent customer service and timely project completion
✅ Train and support junior crew members to uphold our high standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience installing or servicing boat docks and lifts
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding of cable systems and AC/DC electrical systems
- Welding experience and/or heavy equipment operation is highly valued
- Skilled in safe jobsite practices and able to lead by example
- Strong communicator and team player with a commitment to precision and quality
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician/Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
As a Service Technician/Laborer, you will:

Perform boat lift and dock repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and installations of both new and used equipment.

Troubleshoot and diagnose cable systems as well as AC/DC electrical systems.

Assist with the assembly, adjustment, and repair of marine equipment to meet safety and quality standards.

Work on-site, following company protocols to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service and timely project completion.

Operate tools and equipment for repairs and installations.
Preferred Qualifications
The optimal candidate will:

Be mechanically inclined with experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Have a strong understanding of cable systems and AC/DC electrical systems.

Possess welding experience and/or heavy equipment operation skills (bonus, but not required).

Have a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team setting.
Requirements

Previous experience in marine construction, repair, or related industries is a plus.

Possess the ability to apply common sense

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying conditions (We work all year around).

Ability to travel throughout the state- Home most days but some short out-of-town traveling required.

Able to work and perform in all type of weather and environments

Working in the water from April-October (Proper gear provided)

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
